A light assortment of power sits in Selkirk on the summer solstice 2014, ranges from GEVOs to CITX 402.

My first catch of the summer solstice, here's a shot of the Q372 with UP 8780 in charge passing the former Youman's Rd crossing.

The second Q372 with another UP ACe in charge passes through V.O. just a couple hours after the first Q372 got into Selkirk.

Just a detailed shot of the nose of CSX 3158, one of the newest parts of CSXs' fleet, the GE ES44AC's or AC GEVO's with the YN3b or aka boxcar logo paint scheme.

BNSF 4322 leads the CSXT Q351 manifest west out of Selkirk on a gorgeous summer afternoon.

Q351's power with BNSF 4322 infront would leave later but here's a shot of it and some CSX with CITX 402 sitting for there next assignment in Selkirk outside the engine shops.

Another roaring EMD leads the Q366 right after the Q633 on it's way to Selkirk. Seeing these engines is growing in rarity everyday. It was nice to see on this beautiful summer day.

CSX 8844, awesome SD40-2, hammering it to Selkirk with a big train behind it. The local, Q633, usually only consists of about 20 to 30 cars. It always great to see the older EMD's leading trains.

UP 8534 brings the new symbol Q372 track speed to Selkirk in the bright morning light.
