Shooting down from the road bridge I caught this 384 with a nice UP EMD leading. I caught it once more at Fonda.

This was the second 384 that day. It was quite short and had new MTA cars at the end. I heard this train picked them up in Utica.

After watching the re-crew at Fonda I chased this train to French's Hollow and the crew remembered me because the engineer is pointing at me and they said hey to me over the radio which was cool. ... (more)

Just another great train to add to a day of great trains. Here the K017 thunders through Fonda on it's way west with a CSX EMD SD60 leading.

BNSF 5846 leads the G414 in route to RJ to be turned over to Pan Am with Warbonnet (Fake) 4704 second out.

Scaring the birds, they got outta there in time. But a great way to start off the day, with a CSX EMD SD50 leading the Q640 into Amsterdam.

After a long day of almost no trains and with the ones I caught having all GE's leading, it was nice to see an EMD leading L279 west into CP 173.

Today was very windy but with a heads up and with the sun coming back out I grabbed this shot of this grain train in route to Horizon Milling in the Port of Albany, NY.

This was a very short Q262. 262 is a hit or miss, like 279, it might have very nice foreign power, CSX power, or your everyday CSX GEVO seen here.

It was hard to hear this trains symbol on Sunday but this a shot of CSX 336 leading an Intermodal through V.O. going track one to track two after the big snow storm was past.
