The phase I Amtrak heritage pulls NB thru the Rensselaer station with the Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited. The 449 is getting into position to tie onto the NY section once it arrives.

This scene has changed drastically. The station is totally different; with high level platforms and a waiting room over the tracks and the F40s are long gone.

The Baggage Car on the rear of the Boston section of the Lake shore is on the left and F40 271 waits for its next assignment on the right. It will likely take the Maple Leaf west to Toronto.

Passengers catch some fresh air or a smoke depending on preference.

F40 319 came off of lease working in freight service and is prepped for sale while younger dual mode P32AC-DM 707 is still in Phase III with an Empire Service train being serviced.
