| A Blue Heron watches a moonlit meet on bridge 14, with Olympic mountains in the background. A squawk of a FRED brought me to halt at this site, in time to barely catch the first of 5 trains in about 30 minutes. While the full moon lights the scene, the fourth started across NB with headlights dim and on the far track. The last train lit up the train already on the bridge. The Heron was rewarded nicely with a fish dinner. |
