Among all the units on the property in Waycross, Many of them will never turn a wheel again and some will become bases for such things as Gensets. Seen here is a GE B36-7 that started out life as a Santa Fe unit then sold to BC Rail. Since being retired by CN, The unit found it's way to Waycross and is in the mist of having it's FB2 type trucks removed. One can be seen to the far right all ready missing it's traction motors. It is doubtful that this unit has been returned to any kind of active service. A few of these former ATSF/BCR units found a new home on Ohio Central. While the Chey truck in the four ground was an employees, I was not going to ware out my welcome by asking if it could be moved. But now, For some reason I don't mind it being there. I guess as time goes on, It will become a relic as many of the engines around it have. My philosophy was to take photos and leave nothing but foot prints! Photo taken with permision.
