| Built for the Southern in October 1956 and originally
numbered 6898,it was sublettered for the New Orleans
& Northeastern Railroad.Later renumbered to the 6254
and rebuilt to GP38-2 specs it survived as a training
locomotive shown here at the NS Training Center. |
