| BN E8 9938, formerly CB&Q 9938A, brakes to a stop at Stone Avenue station in La Grange with an eastbound dinky. 9938 would eventually be rebuilt for dedicated Chicago - Aurora suburban service and become BN 9901. 9938 had not yet suffered the indignity of losing her Burlington Route nose herald. |
