The Nevada State Railroad Museum unveiled its restored McKeen Motor Car to the public on May, 9, 2010, 100 years to the day after the car's original arrival in Carson City. The car was delivered new to the Virginia & Truckee in 1910 and served until 1945. The museum spent the last several years restoring the car from a hulk used as a storage shed into what is now the only operating example of a McKeen car anywhere.
