Remarks & Notes
The French A7 motorway is also called "autoroute du soleil" which means "sun motorway". It runs from Lyon to Marseille and is most of the time parallel to the SNCF TGV high speed line to the south. During July or August the train is definitely quicker than the car on the journey.
