Happy Birthday Amtrak! The May 1 southbound Vermonter train leans into the curve as it departs the Windsor, VT station on the New England Central's Roxbury Subdivision with P42DC 204, the standard 5 Amfleets and trailing is the 'other half' P42DC 102...

The successor to the Montrealer, the Vermonter runs between St. Albans, Vt., and Washington, DC. Much of the northern part of the route runs along the Connecticut and White Rivers.
