| The train crew is having a little break whilst the tender of #69 is being filled with fresh mountain water. The Glacier station is located at an altitude of 1871 ft. and is only 14 miles away from Skagway. The locomotive had to work very hard to pull its train with a constant and severe uphill grade. |
