Remarks & Notes

After shooting the Los Pinos water tank with the Milky Way in 2010, I then wanted to shoot a steam locomotive in the same fashion. It would be nearly a year and a half later when I would get my chance. Seen here, Rio Grande 485 (489) sits at the bridge at Cumbres Pass on a crisp cold September Night. The clouds would roll in just 30 minutes after this picture was taken which would have ruined this picture opportunity.
