| F-UNIT FAST FREIGHT! In a scene likely not to repeated anytime soon on the west end, PAR FP9s PAR-2 & PAR-1 deadhead back to New England with a couple 'hot' containers for Ayer on a cold, cloudy Sunday morning out of Mechanicville Yard. Engineer Hal T. Raven gives a sun break toot to the lucky assembled photographers gathered at this infamous photo location on the scenic former Fitchburg Freight Main. |
