Amtrak E60MA electric #603 on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Strasburg, PA. Built as an E60CH with head end power for passenger train lighting & heating, it was later rebuilt & re-classified, along with the remaining E60CP's with steam generators, as an E60MA (for the motor-alternator set used to supply head end power). Now retired, it's not hard to picture one of these 5,100hp motors pulling the 'Broadway Limited' through the busy Northeast corridor.
