Remarks & Notes

This signal was once a part of the Missouri Pacific’s mainline to Pueblo and saw such famous trains as the Colorado Eagle and Ford Fast automotive train. During the combined SP & Rio Grande systems years it would see the passage of many more trains and by 1995 even saw 25 million tons of traffic a year. Now the only movement it sees are the passage of stars in the nighttime sky after its abandonment in October of 1997.
