Here's a throwback shot, A&WP GP40 729 working the old connection between the SCL and A&WP which ran right through downtown Union City, The Union City municipal complex now occupies this area. Every bit of this scene is now gone, the connection was pulled up during the late 1980s, 729 went on through the CSX ranks and after being retired eventually became a UP and lastly HLCX GP38-3.
