Canadian National train No. 117 passes through Louis Creek, British Columbia, on July 21, 2011. Leading the train along the North Thompson River is GE ES44DC No. 2340 and C44-9W No. 2562. Although the mountainsides are now greening up, damage from a major forest fire that swept through the area in 2003 can still be seen. Louis Creek was the site of a major sawmill that burned in the devastating fire.
