Between the old tobacco warehouses, a true Southern steam engine and the Southern-style GRS signals I'm not sure it gets any more pure "Southern" than this as Southern Railway 630 blasts down the CNO&TP at CP Fayette on the Sunday version of the "New Royal Palm." Fortunately, the steam engine is the least endangered thing in this photo. The GRS signals will fall within weeks of this photo and the tobacco warehouses intended use ended two decades ago. |
