Remarks & Notes

There are actually 3 tracks here on the Hudson Line just south of the Rensselaer station. But an over night snow, combined with drifts from high winds, has buried all the tracks on this usually busy line. A late running Empire Service train from Niagara Falls heads south to New York lead by the class unit in the dual mode (third rail) fleet. Shot from the Routes 9 & 20 overpass.
