| Happy Veterans Day to all who served! Amtrak 566 departs Los Angeles with Amtrak 90208 bringing up the markers on it's first revenue run in a special paint scheme honoring Veterans. This former F40PH, built as AMTK 208 in 1976, has since been converted to a cab control/baggage car nicknamed "Cabbages" by some. 90208 will be on trains 566 to San Diego and 777 to San Luis Obispo today. Kudos to Amtrak for another job well done! |
