Remarks & Notes

A fiery Colorado sunrise catches the nose of MNZX 788 in the UP's North Yard. The F7A was being relocated from Minnesota to Colorado to run for the San Luis Rio Grande Railroad. Built in 1949 for the Chicago and Northwestern, she served in both freight and passenger duties until the late 1980's.
