Remarks & Notes

Classic Alco and EMD power, with the 5308 making like a steam engine during the 1991 Reading and Northern Railfan Weekend. No. 5308 was built by Alco in September of 1967 as Reading Class RSA-14; one of five units (5307-5311) with Hi-Adhesion trucks. The 197-ton giant is owned and maintained by the Reading Company Technical & Historical Society.
