Remarks & Notes
Conrail’s C30-7A “class unit”, number 6550, is sandwiched by twenty percent of GE’s C32-8 production. Conrail purchased the only ten of the 3200 horsepower C-C’s that were produced. In 1997, all ten were painted grey for Conrail’s Ballast Express service.
