Engineer John Shine is at the throttle, as UP8016 muscles thru Mitchell on the climb for Tennessee Pass. This was suppose to be the last train over Tennessee Pass. Trains would run sporadically for another week. This would be the last photo I ever took of a train on the Royal Gorge Route... I posted a frame of this train a few years ago, however this one seems more balanced.
