Remarks & Notes
Viewed from the Royal Gorge suspension bridge, Rio Grande train 788 negotiates the narrowest section of the Gorge. Originating at the Roadside Mine at Cameo, Colorado, this train of coal has successfully descended Tennessee Pass, and will soon be on the Colorado plains, on its way to Mississippi Power’s plant in Daniel, Mississippi.
