Remarks & Notes
A young man by the enginehouse doors holds his ears against the onslaught of the Strasburg's No. 475 pulling the 3:00 p.m. train's ten passenger cars into the station area. This photo affords an opportunity to compare boiler diameters of the 1906-built ex-NW 475 to the 1910-built ex-CN 2-6-0 No. 89. The 89 is usually assigned to the shorter half-hourly five-car trains, which are operated only during the summer months.
