Remarks & Notes

Five years into the BN merger, Delta Yard at Everett, WA still showed hints of the past. A fairly new BN SW1500 is joined by older GN and NP EMD switchers, and some repainted Geeps. Great Northern refrigerator and gondola cars are still in use along with a GN sand car and fuel tank car. Logs shipped by rail are still an important commodity, but the rarest item could be the 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood, albeit missing its rear wheel well skirting.
