Burlington Northern GP9 No. 1916 leads a 14-car local around the wye at M&D Junction heading for a trip south on the former Northern Pacific “Skally Line” at White Bear Lake, Minnesota, in September 1984. This is home territory for the 1916, as it is former NP No. 331 built in 1957.
