| NS U48 gathers 35 loads at Glamorgan at the end of the ex-Interstate Railroad's Glamorgan Branch. U48 had already worked Hood (Norton) and Critical Fork (Dixiana Branch). Engineer Delmer Lester and Conductor Joe "Robbie" Robinson were relieved with a new crew after working Glamorgan. They were happy to have an "easy" day as they had "only" been on duty 9 to 9-1/2 hours. |
