| It's not the Fourth of July, but this old Alco is doing a good impression of a sparkler as it works the waterfront trackage along Atlantic Avenue in Boston. Penn Central S2 9859 is obviously of New Haven heritage, and the track belongs to the Union Freight RR, an NH subsidiary that was abandoned the year after this photo was taken. |
