This photo, was taken with permission on BBRR property. Beautifully restored SD40, C&O #7534 sits on the deadline in BBRR's yard. While coupled up to two other BBRR loco's and rolling stock, she awaits her tow to her next appointment (unknown at the time)as she still has no traction motors. BBRR has the option to put traction motors under her and put her back to working duty. But currently BBRR's locos are all 4 axles and the SD40 has 6 axles make her prone to put premature wear on BBRR customer sidings and making her more of show piece than a useful profit making work engine. The next chapter of this loco is yet to be determined.
