Lead an eastbound intermodal train as it snakes its way past the big basalt hills at Siberia. Santa Fe SD40-2 No. 5058 sports a rare set of headlights in its nose. The lights were Oscitrol warning lights, installed on SD40-2s Nos. 5058-5070 for coal service teamed with SP units 8489-8498 between Defiance, NM, and Cochise, AZ. The Oscitrol lights were installed to equip Santa Fe's 40s with a light package more akin to that of the SP locos.
