Remarks & Notes

A westbound Union Pacific coal empty climbs the 2% grade of the Moffat Road. It was a balmy 16 degrees when I got in the truck to drive over to Tunnel One, by the time I made the hike it was closer to 30. Thirty and sunny feels pretty good at these high mountain elevations.... When I headed for home there was light snow falling..... I love Colorado!
