| This picture might help us date my father's pictures from the Kellogg Boulevard bridge. An eastbound Milwaukee Road train led by two GP30s and a many GP9s has just passed St. Paul Union Depot as it heads toward Pig's Eye Yard. The Milwaukee Road GP30s were built in June 1963, so I suspect these pictures were taken no earlier than 1964. The cars in the picture might provide further evidence, if anyone is an expert on 1960's era cars. R.T. Steinbrenner Photo |
