Not what it appears to be. What appears to be a CNW train led by GP30 #820, is actually a Fox River Valley train heading south on CNW's New Line in Oak Creek ,WI. Crews have not yet had time to replace the CNW heralds in this photo from December of 1988. Few people photographed the FRVR as they tended to shoot the Wisconsin Central, which ran parallel to the FRVR. Fewer still shot their trains south of Butler, WI, where they ran on the CNW.
