Two westbound E-44s with a sister dead-in-tow are climbing the short, sharp grade from the Port Road to the Enola Branch. It's almost startling to see the graffiti-free boxcars of 40 years ago. Also note No. 1 Track with stick rail on one side and welded on the other, as Conrail was in the midst of rebuilding the branch. Another item of interest is the bent cat pole above the 2nd unit- note the slack in the cross-catenary.
