Half the searchlights gone already. The classic signal bridge that CN 527 is passing under had two searchlight signals over each of the four tracks of CN's Montreal until last Tuesday; now searchlight signals are only found over the south and north track at Turcot West. A temporary pair of searchlights on a new, uncompleted signal bridge protect the freight track (second from left) and a temporary set of searchlight signals protect the transfer track (far left track), though that set is obscured by trees. Eventually all these signals will be replaced by 'vader' signals, which are already onsite and visible on the ground to the right of the exiting signals. Leading CN 527 is CN 8834, with a surprisingly clean nose.
