With the clock racing down to midnight, crews from both the Indiana Transportation Museum & STS-LLC group based out of Minnesota scurry to get FEC 90 loaded and off ITM's property. Founded in 1960, the non-for-profit Indiana Transportation Museum has been halted for running excursions and has been facing ongoing disputes for a rail-trail since 2015 from the city's which it mainly operates in. Finally on Jun 29, 2018 after many legal battles, a judge ordered ITM two weeks to move all equipment from the property before the county sheriff showed up to seize all equipment. FEC 90, a car built 1898 for Henry Flagler that still retains all original interior, was the last car to get moved at 11:58pm on July 12th before the sheriff & City of Noblesville officials showed up to the headquarters in Forest Park at 12:01am on July 13th to take over the property.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
