Bandit and a ghost Former Milwaukee Road, now Soo Line GP40 No. 2014 and Kansas City Southern SD40 No. 633 sit at the Joint Agency Yard in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 14, 1990. A didn’t care much for Soo Line’s ‘banditized’ former Milwaukee units, and the all-white KCS scheme wasn’t everyone’s favorite either, but I shot both when I could—and time has a way of changing how you look at things—at least a little.
