Remarks & Notes
Two Erie Lackawanna veterans, GP7 1234 and SW1200 459, are on the engine tracks of the former Lehigh Valley’s Coxton Yard. While processing this photo, I realized that the top of the Sullivan Trail anthracite breaker in West Pittston is visible above the 459. The Sullivan Trail breaker was one of the last to remain in the Pennsylvania anthracite fields, and was demolished in 1996.
