Remarks & Notes

I went after this slide for the interesting pantograph study between the #601 and the #605. The former is equipped with a Brecknell-Willis model 29500A high-speed pan, the only E-60 so equipped as far as I know. The latter is fitted with the typical Faiveley model found on other E-60s and various Silverliners. That model is an improved version of that found on E-44s. (Source: FRA document TTC-81/01). A John Maggio original Kodachrome slide from my collection.
