Remarks & Notes
In the early 1970's the Quebec North Shore and Labrador began retiring some of the GP-9's as SD40's and SD40-2's came onto the roster. QNSL 117 is one of four GP9's stored in CPR's St. Luc Yard. They will become leasers for Bellequip or Precision National and then go to the C&NW in 1976. The Penn Central GP40's have just arrived on VM-11, the daily Selkirk, NY to Montreal freight via Syracuse, Watertown and Massena, NY.
