| The New York & Greenwood Lake has filed to abandon the approximately one mile long Dundee Spur, linking Garfield and Passaic, N.J. This comes have the property was sold to a real estate developer following a tax auction. Plans are to rip up the tracks and redevelop the property either for residential housing or recreation use. Remaining railroad equipment on the NY&GL tracks has an uncertain future. |
