Gleaming in the morning sun in Foster, Indiana, is Indiana Boxcar Corporation F9A 4210 and Vermillion Valley Railroad caboose 21499 (painted as Peoria & Eastern 21499). IBCX 4210 is the former LTV Steel (LTVX) 4210, ex-Erie Mining Company (EMCX) 4210, built as EMCX 100 in May 1956. Photographed on railroad property with permission and full personal protection equipment (PPE).
