Remarks & Notes
Just days before the New Haven Railroad was absorbed into Penn Central, a pair of EF-4 electrics swing through Fairfield, CT, with a New York-bound freight. The lead unit's pantograph is down because it is receiving power through a roof bus line from the second unit; this was common NH practice.
