Remarks & Notes
Monon 502 leads a Louisville to Chicago freight off the K&IT bridge and onto Vincennes Street in New Albany, Indiana where the train will spend much of the next two miles of its journey navigating the city streets. The Monon was well known for its long stretches of street running - not only here, but further north in Bedford and Lafayette as well.
