A Transport of Wales train Machynlleth - Pwllheli seen at the Westcoast of Wales is crossing the Barmouth Bridge. This is a single-track wooden railway viaduct, opened in 1869. The bridge is 699 metres (764 yd) long, and is made up of 113 wooden trestles.
