Remarks & Notes
You're standing in West Virginia, looking into Maryland through Graham Tunnel and then back into West Virginia on the other side as the Potomac River twists around the rugged mountains east of Cumberland. In a few hundred feet CSX 296 East will dive into Stuart Tunnel as the Magnolia Cut-off was constructed to avoid the tight curvature following the river bank. The signals leave no doubt as to whose railroad this used to be.
