The last night run of the The Everett Railroad Company's sold-out Santa's Express steams across the Frankstown Branch Juniata River in the Reservoir section of Hollidaysburg, PA. Santa was busy visiting with passengers, all in the relative comfortt of steam heated coaches.
Most folks don't like winter, but it's probably my favorite season. While the thin coating of snow we had melted off earlier in the day (booo!), the sub-freezing temperatures still make for a dramatic steam show. And since the sun goes.down early, the strobes come out to play more...
