Remarks & Notes

Four-year-old 2543 teams with a GP50 and GP38 to bring coal loads along the curving fill just west of the Parrish yard. The loads were headed for Wilsonville (I'm pretty sure) and came from one of the last active mines in what once had been a pretty big-time mining area. Do not know if any mining is left in Walker County, Alabama.
